Psalmist of Deliverance
LaTonja Blair, is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and the proud mother of four children. LaTonja Blair is an Anointed psalmist. She is also known as the "Psalmist of Deliverance" because "deliverance" is manifested in the lives of those who hear her sing and speak. LaTonja Blair's melodious voice yields deliverance to the battered, the bruised, and the broken. Her soul wrenching style is a unique blend of contemporary and traditional gospel, with an unmistakable anointing to usher in the presence of God to sit amongst mankind. Lady Blair's passion for singing began at the age of 7 and she continues to pursue the purpose and call of God on her life. From writing music to speaking and singing, LaTonja Blair yields herself as a vessel of God, and an instrument of praise. She is a recording artist and a minister of the Gospel, raised by God for such a time as this; to usher in the transforming power of the Lord through the Ministry of Music. As a renowned vocalist and lyricist, LaTonja Blair has sung alongside some of the most anointed artists of this age. She accompanied "Kirk Franklin and The Family" on their first tour, lending her voice to the soprano section. LaTonja Blair has also shared the stage with artists such as CeCe Winans, Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Donnie McClurkin, Bobby Jones, and Marvin Winans. Currently, she is also a background vocalist for the award-winning Gospel Artist, Tamela Mann.
LaTonja Blair and her husband, Pastor Darrell Blair, together are an anointed couple in ministry. They released their debut musical project, "Make Me Careful", in 2000, which became a #1 hit in the DFW area and well known across the nation. In addition, LaTonja Blair released her first solo debut album, "Elements of Worship", in 2009 of which she ministered her music at the Women Who Win Conference(2009) hosted by Lady Bridget Hilliard; PFI Holy Convocation hosted by Bishop-Elect Marvin L. Winans ( 2014,2015); and Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed Master Class (2018). Most often, LaTonja Blair has been requested for concerts and conferences where the power and anointing moves through her ability to usher in the presence of God while rendering praise and worship.
LaTonja Blair is the First Lady of New Breed Christian Center. After years of success as
ministers of music and gospel recording artists, God elevated her husband and her, in 2004, to found and pastor New Breed Christian Center, “Where ministry means people and everybody is somebody.” In the Fall of 2010, LaTonja Blair and her husband, Pastor Darrell Blair, felt led by God to submit to the leadership and covering of Bishop-Elect Marvin L.
